Phuket has Bangla Road in Patong, a genuinely large concentration of bars, clubs and late-night venues that has no real equivalent anywhere in Krabi province. Krabi’s evening scene — mostly around Ao Nang and, more mutedly, Railay — is beach bars, fire shows and reggae bars rather than anything resembling Patong’s density or intensity.
